Teresa Harvey Horn Studio
Welcome to my studio!
I am a Horn teacher and free-lance performer in the Denver metro area. My home is in Lafayette, CO, just north of Denver, and I travel to my student's homes or schools throughout the metro area for lessons and sectionals. My education includes both Bachelor and Master of Music Education degrees and includes teaching licenses in both Colorado and Texas. I am the Horn guest artist and a chamber ensemble coach at Denver School of the Arts, and Legacy High School in Broomfield. I am also a horn specialist for the Colorado Honor Band Association. I'm principal Horn for the Arapahoe Philharmonic in Littleton, Colorado, and a member of the Steamboat Springs Symphony. Other ensembles I've performed with include Colorado Wind Ensemble, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Wyoming Symphony, Denver Concert Band, Boulder Chamber Orchestra and various brass and woodwind quintets.
My students range in age from 6-76. Beginning skills, horn fundamentals at all levels, and audition preparation are some of the many focuses in my studio. All my students are encouraged to participate in a yearly recital, solo & ensemble, and various city, county and state competitions.
